Muhamad’s Mother and the sheeps

Thanks to her hard work and dedication, Muhammad’s Mother managed to turn her house garden into sheeps pen which she obtained through the livelihood project conducted by Ghiras Al-Nahda in Northern Syria. These sheep provided milk for Muhammad’s mother and her family and gave birth to more sheep which she is taking care of now.

Yousef and Mushroom

Yousef, a 10 years old boy, couldn’t hide his happiness when he harvested the first Mushroom crop at his grandfather’s house in besieged Ghouta. Yousef’ grandfather and 160 others were able to learn how to plant mushroom at home and get a source of protein while being under siege thanks to the Mushroom cultivation training provided by Ghiras Al-Nahda. Youssef learned to grow mushrooms with his grandfather and produced several kilograms of mushrooms at his home.
