Dialysis patients in Jarabulus face daily challenges to sustain their lives. Each dialysis session is a new chance at life, but this opportunity is at risk of being lost due to the shortage of medical supplies.

Why we invite you to contribute:
Dialysis patients face ongoing challenges in their quest to stay healthy. Many live normal lives despite the impact of this chronic disease. through dialysis centers.
Due to various support issues faced by health projects in northwestern Syria. most dialysis centers are at risk of ceasing services due to the lack of dialysis equipment needed to provide routine and emergency dialysis sessions to more than 1,170 patients per year.
The Dialysis Program is a specialized healthcare initiative that aims to provide comprehensive care for individuals with kidney failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who require dialysis therapy to replace lost kidney function.
Most of these centers have a stockpile of dialysis equipment. which will run out by mid-October 2024. with no alternative plans from the World Health Organization (WHO) or relevant humanitarian agencies to supply these centers with dialysis equipment. Dialysis centers in Syria have reached a breaking point. They have been struggling since the beginning of the conflict to continue providing services to the most vulnerable groups with acute and chronic kidney disease, including “patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).”
In the Jarablus area where our campaign will take place. PAC has established the only center in the region that serves end-stage renal disease patients and provides emergency and scheduled sessions for all ages and genders from Al-Bab, Al-Rai and Jarablus areas since 2016.
Between January 1, 2024 and June 30, 2024. Jarablus Dialysis Center provided a total of 1505 dialysis sessions.
The Jarablus Center of Doctors Across Continents. remains a vital component supporting more than 40 patients who rely on life-sustaining dialysis sessions every month. including a child and 10 women.
The center not only provides dialysis services. but also provides transportation services for patients. to facilitate their medical journey and ensure the continuity of the treatment they need.
On average. The center provides life-saving services for both acute and chronic kidney disease by performing an average of 250 sessions per month. of which 241 are part of the routine dialysis program for chronic kidney failure. and 9 emergency sessions per month for urgent and acute kidney failure.
The center is equipped with 8 functional dialysis machines at the Jarablus Dialysis Center. 2 of them are dedicated to Hepatitis B (HBV) and Hepatitis C (HCV) patients.
